Just the 2 of us

Luke had to go on a business trip to England for a few days this week. Jack and I did our best to stay as busy as possible so we wouldn't be lonely out in the country all alone.

On Friday we met up with my friend and her daughter and spent the whole day in Morat (a lake 15 minutes from our house).

First we went to the pools, but the kids were too cold
So we hung out for a while by the lake

Then we headed to the old part of town

Two toddlers asleep at the same time. It's a miracle!

Here is a view of the old walls
You can walk the entire length of the city on the top of these walls

Down by the lake again, you can see the old city in the distance
Once the kids woke up we found a park for them to play
It's great to have friends again!
Saturday Jack and I drove 90 minutes to Aquaparc.
It was right on the bank of Lake Geneva

I think this was one of the most beautiful places I have been in Switzerland

Jack was a little scared on the big tunnel water slides, but he still felt compelled to put his hands up...well one of them at least
Here is the indoor play pool
After a long day of swimming we visited the nearby town of Montreaux.
On a beach in Montreaux
What a view!

Jack was happy when we found a fountain

And ice cream!
A monument to Freddie Mercury
Montreaux was an amazing city and I can't wait to go back with Luke. Switzerland is truly a magnificent place.
