Ok, so they're not really called zombie screens... but I'm not sure what the correct name is. Whatever they are called, they are the coolest invention ever.
Behind each window is a zombie screen which can be lowered to black out 100% of the light

1. In the winter you can close them all the way to keep the house warm
2. In the summer you can close them all the way to keep the house cooler
3. At night and in the morning you can close them all the way to keep the house dark so you can sleep in.
4. I can keep them closed in Jack's room so he can still go to bed when it's light out and not have the sun wake him up early in the morning.
Zombie screens work better than any black out curtains I have ever seen. They are just plain awesome.
And if you're curious as to why I call them zombie screens, well it just so happens that Luke and I were watching the series "Walking Dead" and one day Luke mentioned how these screens would be great during a zombie attack... ever since then, they have been referred to as "zombie screens."
